Overview
Chubbies Deli is a sandwich counter on Central Ave, Orange NJ. The site borrows from NYC bodega awnings and hand-painted deli signs — tile-cream background, mustard + tomato + olive accents, awning stripes top and bottom of the hero (90deg red+cream repeating stripes), Alfa Slab One slab-serif headlines, and Caveat chalk script for the daily specials. Each menu section (Heroes, Breakfast, Hot Plates) has its own background color so they read as separate boards on the wall. Today's-special card sits askew with a stamped ink texture.
